nccr - on the move: Public Lecture Series (Fall/Winter 2020)
"Human movement and inequalities" - dieses Thema steht im Fokus der öffentlichen Vorlesungsreihe des Nationalen Forschungsschwerpunkts "nccr - on the move". "Human movement and inequalities" is the topic on which the public lecture series hosted by the National Center of Competence in Research called "nccr - on the move" will focus.
Fünf Expert*innen präsentieren aktuelle Forschung und stossen interdisziplinäre Debatten an. Anlass gibt die COVID-19 Pandemie, welche Zerbrechlichkeiten und Ungleichheiten in unseren Gesellschaft entblösst und verdeutlicht. Viele davon äussern sich in den unterschiedlichen Möglichkeiten zu migrieren und mobil zu sein. Die Vorlesungsreihe wird hybrid durchgeführt und auch als Live-Stream zugänglich sein. Alle Vorträge werden in englischer Sprache gehalten.
Five experts will present original research and stimulate interdisciplinary debates. The COVID-19 pandemic reveals frailties and disparities within our societies. Many of them manifest in the varying possibilities of being mobile and migrating. This public lecture series is going to be conducted in a hybrid format and will be live-streamed online. All lectures will be held in English.
